Youth Fitness Program and Student Teacher Scholarships
Inspiration:
My daughter Emily. I was an overweight child. My father died at a relatively young age. I want to be around for my daughter
Why you're passionate about Runnin' for Rhett:
Rhett's story and the friendships I have made. I see my students coming to school obese. They sit on the couch and play video games or watch TV. It is so sad to see these inactive children. I want to see children moving being physically fit.
Pet Peeves:
People who do not follow through with what they say they are going to do. Lazy people!
Over the years I have seen first hand the positive effect that R4R can and does have on people. Many people have said "I can't" but R4R has inspired them to say "I can"
Knowing Rhett would have loved to run, jump or play ball and couldn't - so I run because I can.
Why you're passionate about Runnin' for Rhett:
It's a great group of people, starting with Randy and Beth. I'm excited about the Youth Fitness Program and truly believe in getting our youth outside to run and play
