DETAILED PLAN

PREP WEEKS 1-2

FEBRUARY 26-MARCH 11, 2018

TASKS TO COMPLETE:

  1. Send home Permission Slips. [Form pending publication]
  2. Set up school assembly.
  3. Watch Rhett’s Story.
  4. Find a place to train. Measure location to determine distance for running training (¼ mile, ½ mile, 1 mile)
  5. Determine the two days and the time you will train per week..
  6. Contact your Rhett Rep. If you have not been assigned one, try to recruit one from: Faculty and Staff at your school; parents; your friends, family or other members of the community.
  7. Review the Coach’s Guide.
  8. Review the OPTIONAL Ribbon Incentive Program and decide if your school is going to participate. If you are, develop a plan for students to track miles run.

 NOTES:

  1. Check your email for any updates from the R4R Rhett Rep coordinator.
  2. Have a great pre-season and look forward to training with your students!
